GO DEEPER PROGRAM

CREATED FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO GO DEEPER

If you want to go deeper in understanding the theory and practice of the Bwiti Missoko Tradition*, we designed a special optional Go Deeper Program for you.

The program consists of 4 sessions (two sessions per week) that will take place in the Missoko temple during the week days or (if there is a chance) during the Missoko ceremony, where you will be assisting and getting a deeper knowledge as a Nganga.

*this program doesn’t apply to Bwiti Dissoumba Fang initiations and available for the Bwiti Missoko only.

What does the PROGRAM include?

During each session we teach you:

  • Traditional dances of the Missoko temple

  • Traditional songs and the way of presenting yourself while you are in the temple

  • Share with you some explanations of the ritual, that will elevate your understanding of the Bwiti Tradition on the higher level

  • Practice, practice, practice until you get it.

HOW TO BOOK A PROGRAM?

The program can be joined when you are in Gabon and only after your successful Missoko initiation.

We are not accepting deposits for this program and cannot confirm your participation in it until you arrive in Gabon and undergo the initiation. You can let us know in advance that you would like to book it and plan your return trip accordingly. You need two extra weeks in Gabon to complete the program.

Additionally, you can also organize an exit ceremony where you will receive your first Bwiti - a special artifact and divinatory practice that goes with it to elevate your spiritual understanding of the tradition to the next level.

Some people organize it at the end of their first stay in Gabon, others prefer to wait and integrate the initiation experience and choose to do an exit ceremony during their next visit to the country.
